Every house has a story
I never really planned to get here.
The unexpected path
There was never a five-year plan or a carefully drawn map. My journey began with unexpected turns — from Maths Sup and engineering to moving to Germany without speaking the language. It was driven not by a destination, but by curiosity and a constant search for the next challenge.
Curiosity over a roadmap
I still don't have a five-year plan. What I have is curiosity, questions, and a deep fascination for people and what becomes possible when they really talk to one another. I’ve simply learned to welcome the unexpected.
AMH Dawn Consulting was founded by Anne-Marie Hedon— a business leader with 30 years of corporate experience across Europe and Asia.
Having led transformations, managed cross-cultural teams, and navigated complex organisational pivots, Anne-Marie created the House as an alternative to rigid consulting frameworks — a quiet, grounded space where leaders and teams can pause, reflect, and move forward with intention.
Anne-Marie is the anchor of the House. She also brings in trusted domain experts and senior co-facilitators when a situation calls for complementary perspectives and expertise, from executive coaching and organisational psychology to team dynamics.
The House is not built around a single expert or a fixed methodology. It is built around the people who enter it, the conversations that need to happen, and the next meaningful step they are ready to take.
Who is behind the House?
Every meaningful shift begins with a simple conversation.
A House build from experience — and curiosity
An unexpected start.
My entry into IT came as a surprise. I learned by doing — observing, experimenting and taking risks. I never followed a rigid career map, but simply stepped into opportunities that sparked my interest.
Learning by doing
A thread driven by curiosity.
Looking back, I realised I am drawn to challenges: to situations that force me to think, to new perspectives, and to moments when something doesn't quite fit. What drives me isn't a destination, but the desire to learn.
The pattern I eventually recognised
Space over expertise.
Over time, my focus shifted from technology to what happens between people — the conversations that take place, and the ones that don't. I realised organisations don't just need more expertise; they need space to pause, reflect and listen before moving forward.
From technology to people
Connecting across perspectives.
Learning is never a one-way street. Whether across generations, cultures, or disciplines, different perspectives don't need to compete. They simply need a held space to meet, exchange, and see anew.
Some encounters change the way we see
Starting without all the answers.
You don't need the perfect answer before starting a conversation. Real progress comes from curiosity, honest dialogue, and creating a safe space to explore the unknown together.
To support these conversations, I draw on certified frameworks like DISC and ICE - not as labels or fixed answers, but as shared lenses to better understand communication styles, emotional dynamics, and human connection.
Connection over perfection
Moving forward consciously.
AMH Dawn Consulting was created to give leaders and organisations the room to pause and understand what is really happening. Here, questions are explored before solutions are imposed. Moving forward doesn't mean moving faster — it means moving with clarity and purpose.
Why AMH Dawn Consulting
Why the House?
A space designed for better conversations.
When you enter a house, the rhythm naturally changes. You leave the noise outside. You sit down, take a breath, and take the time to talk.
We chose the metaphor of a House because organisations don't need another rigid corporate framework. They need spaces that feel welcoming, safe, and human.
Building a practice is a journey, and every journey starts with a direction. While having a physical space to welcome leaders and teams is a vision for the future, we didn't want to wait for four walls to start creating the right conditions. So we built this virtual House today—as a quiet reference point to slow down, reflect, and gather.
Each room in our House reflects a different way of engaging with us:
The Front Door: A simple, open entrance to begin a dialogue without pressure.
The Kitchen: The warm, pragmatic heart of the house where we work together, look at team dynamics, and turn insights into practical action.
The Reading Room: A quiet corner for one-on-one reflection, stepping back, and finding individual leadership clarity.
The Library: A shared space to explore ideas, read, and gather around the table for collective conversations.
The Open Door: Always open, because every meaningful progress starts with a simple step—and a conversation.
A house is not a place where answers are imposed. It is a place where people feel heard, trusted, and ready to move forward. One step at a time
